- Ryan Sutherland is the CEO and Head Distiller for the Sutherland Distilling Company and the visionary behind its design, layout, and operations. Ryan retired from a long career in the telecommunication industry, and went on to study distilling techniques and practices under the instruction of the American Distilling Institute and Holstein Stills. His background as a journeyman and attention to detail drives his vision for creating innovative and exceptional craft spirits.
- Barry Sutherland is the CFO and self-proclaimed Chief Tasting Officer for Sutherland Distilling Company. A San Francisco East Bay native, Barry received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis in Anthropology, and went on to spend many years in Pre-hospital Emergency Medical Care as a practicing Paramedic. Now a local entrepreneur, Barry has spent the last several years visiting many distilleries learning about the craft and is excited to be bringing the first truly hand crafted spirits to the Livermore Valley.
- Eric Larimer is the Director of Sales, Marketing and Distribution for Sutherland Distilling Company. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis in Biology, Eric worked a season in Napa’s wine industry, followed by many years working as a Paramedic in pre-hospital emergency medicine. Eric has long been an amateur home brewer and spirits enthusiast, and is excited to be joining California’s craft spirit revolution.
